The Pickled Brisket is Bristol’s only salt beef bar. Our multi-award winning sandwiches have been a regular on the Bristol street food scene for the past few years. We are now open at Cargo 2 at Wapping Wharf.

Our Food

We cure locally sourced beef farmed on the Somerset Levels and serve it on bread from a local family bakery. We even have our own mustard produced here in Bristol by Gingerbeard’s Preserves. Each sandwich is carved to order to provide a hot salt beef sandwich that would be fit to grace the plate of any New York deli. We serve a variety of different hot salt beef treats including our famous Reuben with blow torched Swiss Cheese. We also do a veggie version, breadless boxes and smoked salmon from The Valley Smokehouse.


Bristol’s only salt beef bar is now at Unit 3, Cargo 2 at Wapping Wharf.  Serving out of a container nestled amongst other great independents, The Pickled Brisket is open Monday to Sunday from 12 noon until late. We offer lunch time deals and office catering for nearby businesses.
